Case study — Lash studio

Sofistique Lashes,
finally off the phone.

A solo lash artist with a loyal following — and an inbox that never slept. We built her a custom booking system on her own domain, with deposit protection, lash maps and a dashboard that finally tells the truth about her studio.

The pain

A fully booked artist, quietly losing money.

From the outside, Sofistique looked like every lash artist's dream: a packed calendar, a waitlist, regulars who'd followed her between three studios. From the inside, it looked like a second full-time job after every shift.

  • Bookings lived in Instagram DMs, screenshots and a paper diary that didn't always agree.
  • No-shows on Saturdays were costing entire afternoons of revenue with no recourse.
  • Lash specs, allergies and preferences lived in her head — and only her head.
  • Pricing, add-ons and opening hours were re-explained in DMs ten times a day.

What we built

One calm dashboard, on her own domain.

A branded booking flow for clients on the front, and a single owner dashboard on the back — appointments, clients, availability, statistics and services, all in one place.

Sofistique Lashes statistics dashboard showing monthly revenue, bookings and most popular service
The truth about the month — at a glance. No more guessing whether it was a good month.
Upcoming appointments list with deposit status and client notes
Every booking carries its deposit, inspiration photo and notes — no scrolling DMs at 11pm.
Calendar view of bookings for the day
Switch between list and calendar. The day is always one tap away.
Client profile with lash map and notes
A real client record — visit count, lash map per eye, and the small things that make clients feel remembered.
Opening times configuration for each weekday
Opening hours she controls herself — no more re-explaining 'we're closed Sundays'.
Exception dates for closures, trips and holidays
Trips, holidays and closures blocked in seconds. The booking page just knows.

The leverage

Where the real wins came from.

Deposits stopped the bleed.

A required deposit on every booking turned no-shows from a Saturday tax into a rare exception. That alone paid for the system in the first month.

DMs went from booking channel to a vibe.

Instagram became a place to post work again — not a 24/7 reception desk. Clients book themselves, deposit and all.

Client memory became a feature.

Lash maps, allergies and preferences live on the profile, not in her head. Returning clients feel seen; new artists could step in tomorrow.

Decisions became data, not gut feel.

Most popular service, monthly revenue, no-show count — visible in three seconds. Pricing changes are now made on facts.

"I used to dread Sunday nights, just catching up on DMs. Now I actually close my laptop."
